Fragments of a Clouded Memory

Fragments of a Clouded Memory, experimental cyanotypes on handmade ceramic tiles arranged in an eight-by-eight grid.  During the exposure of 5 hours, I added materials found on the land. These materials are salt, soil, grass, and water. I added these materials over the five hours of exposure in the sun. Through this exposure, I am documenting time spent on the land, the land I grew up on. The salt, dirt, and water stained the tiles. Leaving their mark. This staining is like how the landscapes, social norms, and beliefs around us have left their mark on us.
