Piece of Home

A Piece of Home, wood sourced from Rowan and Cabarrus counties. The counties where I was born and raised, where my family has lived for ten generations. On the wood are photos taken around the counties. Landscapes, I pass almost every day I am there. The photos are transferred onto wood, a hands-on process. Connecting the wood back into the landscapes it came from.
